We are excited to announce that early bird registration is now open for the 2024-2025 SCIHL Division 2 and Division 3! As always, the SCIHL offers non-contact, competitive, and enjoyable ice hockey experiences. Division 2 games will take place at DB Ice Rink, while Division 3 games will be held at Mega Ice.

Early bird registration for SCIHL players will be available until August 15th. By registering early, you can take advantage of our special player registration fee.

Please note that registration for all divisions is on a first-come, first-served basis. To secure your spot, payment must be made, and acceptance confirmed.

Division 2 - Thursdays @ DB Ice Rink in Discovery Bay

SCIHL Division 2 is the high-level division for non-contact ice hockey in Hong Kong. For the upcoming season, all Division 2 games will take place on Thursday nights at the DB Ice Rink, conveniently located in Discovery Bay.

Division 2 offers competitive and enjoyable non-contact hockey, specifically designed for experienced players seeking a fantastic social environment to play in.
Here are the key highlights of Division 2:

• Two-team league with up to 15 players and 2 goalies per team
• Non-contact format
• All games are scheduled on Thursday nights from 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm
• U16 players will be placed evenly on both teams
• All players will enter a full draft
• The season includes two x 10 game seasons, including playoffs format (20 games in total)
  • After the first 10 games (9 regular games & 1 championship) – teams will re-draft and play a 2nd season
• Each game consists of three 20-minute periods with running time, followed by overtime and a shootout if necessary
• The SCIHL website (www.scihl.com) provides access to comprehensive game stats and summaries
• Dedicated iOS and Android apps (SCIHL) are available for easy access to league information
• The early bird registration fee for Division 2 is HK$7,888
  • Goalies pay HK$3,888 each if there are two per team
• After August 15th, the registration fee will be HK$8,888

Division 2 Important Dates:

• League Draft: To be announced, expected to be held on the second week of September with Division 3
• Opening night: Thursday, October 17th

Registration Details:

• Early bird registration for SCIHL players is currently open and will continue until August 15th.
• Please note that registration must be completed online. Ensure that you fill out the registration form and submit payment accordingly. It's important to note that the minimum age requirement is 16 years unless approved by the organizers.

Locker Rental Information:

• The management of equipment lockers will be handled by the DB Ice Rink. If you are interested in renting a locker for the 2024-2025 season (September - March), please contact the rink directly.
